Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). This will ensure that your cookies bake evenly.

Line two baking sheets with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
Mixing

Combine Dry Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

Cream Butter and Sugars
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

Add Eggs and Vanilla
Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.

Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined. Do not overmix.

Baking

Scoop Dough onto Baking Sheets
Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
