Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Broccoli

Method

Cajun Ribeye

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribeye

Take the ribeye steak out of the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking. This helps it to cook evenly.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

Rub the ribeye steak with olive oil, then sprinkle the Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper on both sides. Ensure an even coating.

  3. 3

    Cook the Steak

Preheat a cast-iron skillet over high heat. Once hot, place the ribeye in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Garlic Butter

  1. 4

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

  2. 5

    Add Parsley

Stir in the chopped parsley and remove from heat. Set aside to drizzle over the cooked ribeye.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes

  1. 6

    Boil the Potatoes

In a large pot, add the quartered potatoes and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until tender.

  2. 7

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add milk, butter, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Broccoli

  1. 8

    Prepare the Broccoli

In a separate pot, bring water to a boil and add the broccoli florets. Cook for 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.

  2. 9

    Season the Broccoli

Drain the broccoli and toss with olive oil and salt before serving.
