Chicken Wings

Method

Preparing the Chicken

  1. 1

    Cut the Chicken

Cut the boneless chicken breast into bite-sized pieces, about 1-2 inches in size.

  2. 2

    Season the Chicken

In a bowl, season the chicken pieces with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Mix well to ensure all pieces are evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Breading

In a separate bowl, lightly beat the egg. In another bowl, place the all-purpose flour. In a third bowl, add the panko breadcrumbs.

  4. 4

    Bread the Chicken

Dip each piece of seasoned chicken into the flour, shaking off the excess. Next, dip it into the beaten egg, and finally coat it with panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

Cooking the Wings

  1. 5

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. 6

    Arrange the Chicken

Place the breaded chicken pieces in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.

  3. 7

    Bake the Chicken

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, flipping halfway through.

Making the Sauce

  1. 8

    Melt the Butter

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.

  2. 9

    Combine Ingredients

Once the butter is melted, add the hot sauce, garlic powder, honey, and cayenne pepper. Stir well to combine.

  3. 10

    Simmer the Sauce

Let the sauce simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.

Serving

  1. 11

    Coat the Chicken

Once the chicken is baked, remove it from the oven and drizzle or toss it in the prepared sauce until well coated.

  2. 12

    Serve

Serve the boneless wings hot, with your choice of dipping sauce and celery sticks on the side.
