Pasta Preparation

Cook the Penne Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Shrimp Preparation

Season the Shrimp
In a bowl, toss the shrimp with the blackened seasoning until evenly coated.

Cook the Shrimp
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add a little olive oil. Once hot, add the seasoned shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are opaque and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Alfredo Sauce Preparation

Make the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet used for the shrimp, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.

Add Cheese and Season
Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Allow the sauce to thicken for about 3-5 minutes.
Combine & Serve

Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked penne pasta to the Alfredo sauce, stirring to coat the pasta evenly.

Add Shrimp
Gently fold in the cooked blackened shrimp until evenly incorporated.

Plate the Blackened Shrimp Alfredo and garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Enjoy your meal!
