Shrimp and Filling

Bacon Wrapping

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Rinse the jumbo shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Make the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and chopped pickled jalapeños. Mix well until fully blended.

Wrapping

  1. 3

    Stuff the Shrimp

Take a teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture and stuff each shrimp with it, making sure to fill them well.

  2. 4

    Wrap with Bacon

Wrap each stuffed shrimp with a strip of bacon, securing it with a toothpick if necessary. Ensure that the shrimp is completely covered.

Grilling and Glazing

  1. 5

    Grill the Shrimp

Place the bacon-wrapped shrimp on the preheated grill. Grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bacon is crispy and the shrimp are opaque.

  2. 6

    Apply the Glaze

During the last minute of grilling, brush the sweet chili sauce generously onto each shrimp. Allow it to caramelize slightly on the grill.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve Hot

Remove the shrimp from the grill and let them rest for a minute. Serve hot, garnished with additional pickled jalapeños if desired.
