Chicken and Toppings

Method

Chicken Preparation

  1. 1

    Grill the Chicken

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Swiss cheese on each chicken breast to melt.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Avocado and Vegetables

While the chicken is grilling, slice the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh out with a spoon. Slice the avocado into thin slices. Wash and dry the lettuce leaves, and slice the tomato into thin rounds.

Assembling the Sandwich

  1. 3

    Assemble the Chicken Avocado Sandwich

Once the chicken is cooked and the cheese has melted, remove the chicken from the grill. On the bottom half of each wheat bun, layer the lettuce, followed by the tomato slices, and then the grilled chicken with melted Swiss cheese. Top with avocado slices and drizzle honey mustard over the avocado. Place the top half of the bun to complete the sandwich.

Cooking the Waffle Fries

  1. 4

    Fry the Waffle Fries

In a deep fryer or a large pot, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Carefully add the frozen waffle fries in batches, cooking for about 3-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove the fries with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt to taste.
