Shrimp Preparation
- 1
Breading the Shrimp
In three separate bowls, set up a breading station. In the first bowl, add the flour. In the second bowl, whisk the eggs until combined. In the third bowl, combine the cornstarch and panko breadcrumbs. Season the flour with salt and black pepper.
- 2
Coating the Shrimp
Take each shrimp, dredge it in the flour, dip it in the egg, and then coat it in the panko mixture. Ensure each shrimp is fully covered. Place the breaded shrimp on a plate.
- 3
Frying the Shrimp
In a large frying pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the breaded shrimp in batches, frying for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Boom Boom Sauce Preparation
- 4
Mixing the Sauce
In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, honey, lime juice, and garlic powder. Mix until smooth and well combined. Adjust seasoning and spice level to taste.
Assembling the Tacos

Prepare the Tortillas
Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.
- 6
Fill the Tacos
In each tortilla, add a generous amount of shredded cabbage, followed by a few crispy shrimp, a sprinkle of jack cheese, and diced tomatoes. Drizzle with boom boom sauce.
Waffle Fries Preparation
