Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Muddle the Ingredients

In a sturdy glass, add the fresh mint leaves and sugar or simple syrup. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently press the mint leaves to release their oils, being careful not to tear them into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Add Blueberries

Add the fresh blueberries to the glass. Muddle them lightly with the mint to release their juices, combining them with the mint flavor.

  3. 3

    Add Lime Juice

Squeeze the lime juice into the glass, ensuring you get all the juice from one whole lime. Stir the mixture gently to blend the flavors.

  4. 4

Pour in the Rum and Juice

Add the Malibu coconut rum and pineapple juice to the muddled mint and blueberry mixture. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.

  5. 5

    Add Ice

Fill the glass with ice cubes, ensuring the liquid is well chilled.

  6. 6

    Top with Club Soda

Pour the club soda over the ice to fill the glass. This will add a refreshing fizz to your mojito.

  7. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish your Blueberry Coconut Mojito with a sprig of fresh mint and a few whole blueberries on top. Serve immediately with a straw.
