Preparation of Ahi Tuna

    Season the Tuna

    Lightly season the ahi tuna steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.

    Sear the Tuna

    In a hot skillet over medium-high heat, add a small amount of oil. Sear the tuna steaks for about 1-2 minutes on each side for rare, or longer depending on your desired doneness.

    Rest the Tuna

    Remove from heat and let the tuna rest for a couple of minutes before slicing.

Salad Assembly

    Prepare the Salad Base

    In a large bowl, combine mixed greens and shredded cabbage. Toss to mix well.

    Add Vegetables

    Add edamame, grated carrots, sliced red onions, diced bell peppers, and sliced jalapeños to the salad base.

    Thinly slice the seared ahi tuna into bite-sized pieces.
