Salad Preparation

Prepare the Romaine Lettuce
Wash and dry the romaine lettuce thoroughly. Tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large salad bowl.

Add Parmesan Cheese
Grate the Parmesan cheese and sprinkle it over the romaine lettuce in the bowl.

Add Croutons
Add the croutons to the salad bowl with the romaine and Parmesan.
Dressing Preparation

Make the Caesar Dressing
In a small bowl, mash the garlic and anchovy fillets together with a fork until it forms a paste. Add the Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper, and mix well.

Combine with Olive Oil
Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking continuously until the dressing is emulsified and creamy.
Assembly

Combine Salad and Dressing
Pour the Caesar dressing over the salad mixture and toss well to ensure everything is coated evenly.

Add Optional Protein (if desired)
If adding protein, season the chicken breast or salmon fillet with salt and pepper, then sear in a hot skillet until cooked through. Slice and arrange on top of the salad.
