Prepare the Burger Patties

Mix the Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined.

Form Patties
Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each to help them cook evenly.
Make Wag's Special Sauce

Combine Ingredients
In a small bowl, combine the tomato sauce, dried herbs, minced garlic, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.

Let it Rest
Allow the sauce to sit for at least 10 minutes to let the flavors meld together.
Cook the Burger Patties

Cook the Patties
Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

Add Cheese
In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of provolone cheese on each patty and close the grill lid to melt the cheese.
