Method
Prepare Salad Base

Wash and Prepare Vegetables
Rinse the mixed salad greens under cold water, then dry them using a salad spinner or a clean kitchen towel. Halve the cherry tomatoes, peel and slice the cucumber into thin rounds, peel and julienne the carrot, and finely slice the red onion.

Assemble Salad
In a large salad bowl, combine the prepared mixed salad greens, halved cherry tomatoes, sliced cucumber, julienned carrot, and sliced red onion. Toss gently to mix.
Prepare Tuna Salad or Diced Ham

Make Tuna Salad
In a medium bowl, combine the drained canned tuna, mayonnaise, diced celery, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until well combined. If you prefer diced ham, skip to the next step.

Prepare Diced Ham
If using diced ham, simply measure out 1 cup of diced ham and set aside.
Add Cheese Toppings

Add Cheese
Sprinkle the julienne Swiss cheese and julienne American cheese evenly over the top of the salad.
Final Assembly

Top Salad
Spoon the prepared tuna salad or diced ham over the top of the salad. Serve immediately.
