Preparing the Prawns

Cook the Prawns
In a large pot of boiling salted water, add the fresh prawns and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from heat.

Cool and Peel
Drain the prawns and place them in a bowl of ice water to cool. Once cooled, peel and devein the prawns, removing the shells and tails.

Marinate
In a mixing bowl, combine the peeled prawns with lemon juice and salt. Toss gently and set aside to marinate for 15 minutes.
Making the Cocktail Sauce

Combine Ingredients
In a medium bowl, add mayonnaise, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish sauce, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.

Mix Well
Use a whisk or fork to mix the ingredients until smooth and well combined.
Assembling the Dish

Prepare Serving Dish
Arrange the lettuce leaves on a serving platter as a bed for the prawns.

Add Prawns
Place the marinated prawns on top of the lettuce leaves.

Serve with Sauce
Serve the prawns with the cocktail sauce on the side. Garnish with lemon wedges.
