Clean the Octopus
Rinse the octopus under cold water and remove the beak and innards if not already done. Pat dry with paper towels.

Marinate the Octopus
In a large bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Add the cleaned octopus to the marinade, making sure it’s well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight.

Grill the Octopus
Remove the octopus from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Place the octopus on the grill and cook for approximately 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it develops a nice char and is tender.

Plate the Octopus
Once the octopus is cooked through, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Slice the tentacles into bite-sized pieces.

Garnish and Serve
Drizzle with additional olive oil, sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley, and serve alongside the grilled lemon halves for squeezing over the octopus.
