Preparing the Beef Tenderloin

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Season the Beef
Rub the beef tenderloin with olive oil, then season generously with salt and black pepper on all sides.

Sear the Beef
In a hot skillet over medium-high heat, add the beef tenderloin and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.

Add Aromatics
Add whole garlic cloves and fresh rosemary to the skillet, then add the butter and baste the beef with the melted butter for an additional 2 minutes.

Roast in Oven
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 20-25 minutes for medium-rare, or until a meat thermometer reads 135°F (57°C).

Rest the Meat
Remove from the oven, cover loosely with foil, and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Prepare Vegetables
Wash and trim the asparagus, peel and slice the carrots, and chop the bell pepper into bite-sized pieces.

Sauté the Vegetables
In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the carrots and sauté for 5 minutes.

Add Remaining Vegetables
Add the asparagus and bell pepper to the skillet, season with salt and black pepper, and continue to sauté for an additional 5-7 minutes until tender.
