Method

Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Fish

In a bowl, whisk together flour, egg, milk, salt, and black pepper to create a batter.

2

Dip each fish fillet into the batter, ensuring they are fully coated.

3

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the battered fish fillets.

4

Fry the fish for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.

5

Make the Shrimp Sauce

In another skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped onion, sauté until translucent.

6

Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.

7

Stir in tomato sauce, coconut milk, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens.

8

Finish by adding fresh cilantro and stirring well.

9

Serve

Place the fried fish on a plate and generously spoon the shrimp sauce over the top before serving.
