Ceviche Ingredients

Method

Preparation Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fish

Cut the fresh fish into small, bite-sized cubes and place them in a glass or ceramic bowl.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Fish

Pour the lime juice over the fish, ensuring all pieces are fully submerged. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to 1 hour, until the fish is opaque.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the fish is marinating, thinly slice the red onion and chop the cilantro. If using, finely chop the jalapeño.

  4. 4

    Combine Ingredients

Once the fish is marinated, add the red onion, cilantro, jalapeño (if using), salt, and pepper to the bowl. Gently mix to combine.

  5. 5

    Prepare Yucca

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Peel and cut the yucca into chunks. Boil until tender, about 20-30 minutes. Drain and set aside.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the ceviche chilled, alongside the boiled yucca and topped with toasted corn nuts.
