Shrimp and Batter

Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Shrimp

In a large bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Dip each shrimp into the beaten egg, then coat with the flour mixture.

2

Fry the Shrimp

Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat. Fry the shrimp in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

3

Make the Sauce

In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.

4

Finish the Sauce

Stir in the heavy cream, salt, and pepper, cooking until the sauce thickens slightly, about 2-3 minutes. Add chopped parsley.

5

Serve

Arrange the fried shrimp on a serving platter and drizzle the creamy garlic sauce over the top. Serve hot.
