Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Bread the Chicken

Set up a breading station: Place flour in one shallow dish, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs mixed with half of the grated Parmesan in a third dish. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.

  3. 3

    Fry the Chicken

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the breaded chicken breasts and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Transfer the fried chicken to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Dish

In a large baking dish, spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom. Place the fried chicken on top of the sauce. Spoon the remaining marinara sauce over the chicken, then sprinkle with the shredded mozzarella and the remaining Parmesan cheese.

  5. 5

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  6. 6

    Serve

Let the Chicken Parmigiano rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy with pasta or a side salad!
