Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Slice the veal scalloppini into thin cutlets. Clean and slice the mushrooms, chop the onion, and slice the bell peppers into strips. Mince the garlic.

  2. 2

    Cook the Spaghetti

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onions, garlic, and bell peppers. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

  4. 4

    Cook the Veal

Add the veal scalloppini to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned. Season with salt and black pepper.

  5. 5

    Add Mushrooms and Sauce

Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Pour in the light marinara sauce and let it simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

  6. 6

    Serve the Dish

Toss the cooked spaghetti with the sauce mixture. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
