Preparation Steps
- 1
Cook the Fettuccine
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Cook the Chicken
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breast and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.
- 3
Steam the Broccoli
In the same skillet, add broccoli florets and a splash of water. Cover and steam for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp. Remove and set aside.
- 4
Make the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet, reduce heat to low and add butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- 5
Combine Everything
Add the cooked fettuccine, sliced chicken, and steamed broccoli to the Alfredo sauce. Toss until well coated and heated through.
- 6
Serve
Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
