  2. 2

    Mise en Place

Chop the fresh parsley and mince the garlic cloves. Measure out the butter, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Heat the Skillet

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium-high heat until the butter is melted and bubbly.

  2. 4

    Sauté the Garlic

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, making sure not to burn the garlic.

  3. 5

    Cook the Shrimp

Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink and opaque, then flip them over.

  4. 6

    Finish Cooking

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes on the other side. Once fully cooked, remove the skillet from heat and drizzle with lemon juice.

  5. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the sautéed shrimp for garnish. Serve immediately with your choice of sides.
