Method

Dip Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Artichokes

If using canned artichoke hearts, drain and rinse them thoroughly. If using frozen artichokes, thaw them completely and drain excess water.

  2. 2

    Mix the Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, grated Parmesan cheese, and shredded mozzarella cheese. Mix until smooth and well combined.

  3. 3

    Add the Flavorings

Stir in the minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes into the cheese mixture until evenly distributed.

  4. 4

    Fold in the Artichokes

Gently fold the prepared artichoke hearts into the cheese mixture until just combined. Be careful not to break the artichokes too much.

  5. 5

    Bake the Dip

Transfer the dip mixture to a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.

Crostini Preparation

  1. 6

    Prepare the Baguette

Slice the baguette diagonally into 1/2 inch thick slices.

  2. 7

    Oil and Season the Slices

Brush both sides of each slice with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder.

  3. 8

    Toast the Crostini

Arrange the slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven alongside the dip for about 10-15 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.
