Preparation
- 1
Muddle the Mint
In a sturdy glass or cocktail shaker, add the fresh mint leaves. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently press the mint leaves to release their oils. Be careful not to tear them too much, as you only want to release the flavor.
- 2
Combine the Liquids
Add the Buchanan's Pineapple Bourbon, fresh lemon juice, agave syrup, and pineapple juice to the glass with the muddled mint. Fill the glass with ice cubes to chill the mixture.
- 3
Mix the Drink
Using a bar spoon or shaker, stir the mixture gently to combine all ingredients evenly. This will help integrate the flavors.
- 4
Top with Seltzer
Slowly pour the seltzer water over the mixture to add fizz. Stir gently to combine without losing the bubbles.
- 5
Garnish and Serve
Garnish the drink with a sprig of fresh mint and a slice of pineapple if desired. Serve immediately with a straw or cocktail stirrer.
