Method

Salad Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Salad Base

Wash the leaf lettuce thoroughly under cold water, then pat dry with a clean towel. Tear the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place them into a large salad bowl.

  2. 2

    Add Alfalfa Sprouts

Add the alfalfa sprouts over the torn lettuce in the bowl.

  3. 3

    Slice the Mango

Peel the mango, remove the pit, and slice the flesh into thin strips or cubes. Add the mango pieces to the salad bowl.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Strawberries

Wash the strawberries, remove the green tops, and slice them in half or quarters. Add the strawberries to the salad bowl.

  5. 5

    Incorporate Sun-dried Cherries

Add the sun-dried cherries into the salad bowl with the other ingredients.

  6. 6

    Grill the Chicken

If not already cooked, grill the chicken breast until fully cooked, about 6-7 minutes per side, depending on thickness. Allow it to rest for a few minutes before slicing it into strips and adding it to the salad.

Dressing Preparation

  1. 7

    Mix the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together the sesame oil, poppy seeds, honey, rice vinegar, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  2. 8

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle the dressing over the salad just before serving and toss gently to combine all ingredients evenly.
