Crostini Preparation

    Preheat the Oven

    Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    Slice the Baguette

    Cut the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices.

    Brush with Olive Oil

    Place the slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides lightly with olive oil.

    Toast the Crostini

    Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes or until the crostini are golden and crisp. Remove from the oven and let cool.

Topping Preparation

    Prepare the Tomatoes

    Dice the fresh tomatoes and place them in a mixing bowl.

    Add Garlic and Basil

    Finely chop the garlic cloves and add them to the bowl with the tomatoes. Tear the fresh basil leaves into small pieces and add them as well.

    Season the Mixture

    Sprinkle with salt and black pepper to taste. Toss everything together gently to combine.

    Add Parmesan Cheese

    Grate the parmesan cheese and fold it into the tomato mixture, ensuring even distribution.

Assembly
