Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Protein

Choose one type of protein (chicken, pork, or veal). Cut into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Vegetables

Slice the mushrooms and chop the parsley. Mince the garlic cloves.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Sauté the Protein

In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned protein and sauté until cooked through and golden brown, approximately 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  2. 4

    Make the Sauce

In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute). Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until soft (about 3-4 minutes).

  3. 5

    Combine Ingredients

Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, then add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth.

  4. 6

    Add the Protein and Prosciutto

Return the sautéed protein to the skillet along with the prosciutto. Stir well to coat everything in the sauce and let it simmer for another 3-4 minutes.

  5. 7

    Finish and Serve

Add the shredded mozzarella cheese and chopped parsley on top. Allow the cheese to melt slightly before serving. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
