Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Preparing the Octopus

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Submerge the octopus and simmer for about 40-60 minutes until tender. Remove from water and let it cool. Once cooled, cut the tentacles from the body.

  2. 2

    Marinating

In a bowl, mix olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Add the octopus tentacles and coat them well. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Grilling the Octopus

Preheat your grill to a high temperature. Grill the marinated octopus for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until charred and slightly crispy.

  4. 4

    Preparing the Salad

In a bowl, combine cherry tomatoes (halved), capers, Kalamata olives (pitted and sliced), and feta cheese (crumbled). Drizzle with a bit of olive oil and toss gently.

  5. 5

    Serving

On a serving plate, arrange the grilled octopus and top with the salad mixture. Drizzle with balsamic reduction for added flavor.
