Preparation Steps
1. Brûléed Lime Preparation
Preheat your oven's broiler. Cut the lime in half and sprinkle the cut sides with sugar. Place the lime halves under the broiler for about 2-3 minutes or until the sugar is caramelized and the lime is slightly charred. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool.
2. Mixing the Cocktail
In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of Bribon Reposado, 1 oz of fresh lime juice, and 0.5 oz of agave nectar. Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
3. Straining the Cocktail
Strain the cocktail mixture into a chilled glass filled with ice.
4. Adding the Shiraz Float
Slowly pour 1 oz of Shiraz wine over the back of a spoon to create a float on top of the cocktail.
5. Garnishing
Garnish the cocktail with the brûléed lime half on the rim of the glass.
