For the Charred Sourdough

Make the Allium Butter

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter, minced garlic, chopped shallot, and chopped green onions. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated. Season with salt to taste. Set aside.

Prepare the Sourdough

Brush each slice of sourdough bread with olive oil on both sides.

Char the Bread

Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add the oiled sourdough slices and grill for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until charred and crispy.

Serve

Spread a generous amount of allium butter on each slice of charred sourdough. Garnish with chopped fresh dill before serving.
