Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Brussels Sprouts
Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half. Rinse under cold water and set aside.
- 2
Toast the Hazelnuts
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the hazelnuts on a baking sheet and toast for about 10-12 minutes until fragrant. Let cool, then roughly chop.
- 3
Sauté the Brussels Sprouts
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the Brussels sprouts cut-side down and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until golden and tender.
- 4
Add Sage and Seasoning
Chop the sage leaves and add them to the skillet along with salt and black pepper. Stir well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- 5
Combine with Hazelnuts
Remove the skillet from the heat and fold in the toasted hazelnuts. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
- 6
Serve
Transfer the Brussels sprouts to a serving dish and enjoy warm.
