Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Noodles

Cook the wide rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Make the Sauce

In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, and chili paste. Mix well and set aside.

  3. 3

    Stir-Fry the Vegetables

In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add bell pepper and carrot to the skillet, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.

  4. 4

    Add Noodles and Sauce

Add the cooked noodles to the skillet along with the sauce mixture. Toss everything together to coat the noodles evenly.

  5. 5

    Scramble the Eggs

Push the noodle mixture to one side of the skillet. Crack the eggs into the empty side and scramble until cooked, then mix into the noodles.

  6. 6

Finish with Basil and Green Onions

Add Thai basil leaves and green onions to the skillet. Toss everything together until the basil is wilted and everything is heated through.

  7. 7

    Serve

Serve the drunken noodles hot, garnished with extra basil if desired.
