Cooking the Pasta

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the rigatoni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Preparing Mushroom Duxelle

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped shallots and garlic, sautéing until soft and translucent.

Stir in the chopped thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat.
Combining and Serving

Combine Pasta and Duxelle
Add the cooked rigatoni to the mushroom duxelle in the skillet. Toss gently to combine, ensuring the pasta is coated with the mushroom mixture.

Plate the pasta and top with grated Parmesan cheese and a drizzle of truffle oil. Serve immediately.
