Method

Preparing the Ribs

  1. 1

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub the spice mixture all over the pork ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for better flavor.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 350°F (175°C). If using charcoal, ensure the coals are evenly distributed.

  3. 3

    Grill the Ribs

Place the seasoned ribs on the grill bone side down. Grill for about 2-3 hours, turning occasionally, until the meat is tender and pulls away from the bone. Brush BBQ sauce onto the ribs during the last 30 minutes of grilling to caramelize.

Preparing the Side Dishes

  1. 4

    Cook the Corn

Boil or grill the corn on the cob until tender, about 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving.

  2. 5

    Make the Coleslaw

In a large bowl, combine the coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix well until the coleslaw is evenly coated. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.
