Chicken Wings
House Made Ranch
Method
Preparing Chicken Wings
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to prepare for baking the wings.
- 2
Prepare the Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. This will help the skin crisp up during baking.
- 3
Mix the Dry Rub
In a large mixing bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create the dry rub.
- 4
Coat the Wings
Add the chicken wings to the bowl with the dry rub and toss until they are evenly coated.
- 5
Bake the Wings
Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
- 6
Prepare the Honey Sriracha Sauce
In a separate bowl, combine honey and Sriracha sauce. Mix until well combined.
- 7
Toss Wings in Sauce
Remove the wings from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the honey Sriracha sauce over the wings and toss to coat them evenly.
Making House Made Ranch
- 8
Combine Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk until smooth.
- 9
Add Seasonings
Stir in dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.
- 10
Chill the Ranch
Cover the ranch dressing and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Serving
- 11
Serve the Wings
Once wings are coated and ranch is chilled, serve the wings hot with the house-made ranch on the side for dipping.
