Method

Preparation of Fish

  1. 1

    Clean the Fish

Rinse the threadfin bream under cold water, then pat dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Prepare Marinade

In a bowl, mix together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Marinate Fish

Place the cleaned threadfin bream in a dish and pour the marinade over the fish. Ensure that the fish is evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking the Fish

  1. 4

    Preheat Grill or Oven

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or your oven to 200°C (400°F).

  2. 5

    Grill the Fish

Remove the fish from the marinade and place it on the grill or a baking tray if using the oven. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the flesh is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

  3. 6

    Garnish

Chop fresh parsley and sprinkle it over the cooked fish for added flavor and color.

Serving Suggestions

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

Serve the grilled threadfin bream on a plate with mixed salad greens on the side. Add lemon wedges for an extra citrus touch.
