Stuffed Garlic Bread Ingredients

Method

Directions for Stuffed Garlic Bread

  1. 1

    Prepare the Roasted Garlic

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut the top off the head of garlic, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 30-35 minutes until golden and soft. Allow to cool, then squeeze the cloves out into a bowl.

  2. 2

    Make the Garlic Butter

In a bowl, combine the roasted garlic, unsalted butter, salt, and black pepper. Mash together until smooth.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Ciabatta

Slice the ciabatta loaf in half lengthwise, creating a top and bottom. Gently pull out some of the bread from the inside to create space for the filling.

  4. 4

    Stuff the Bread

Spread the roasted garlic butter evenly on both halves of the ciabatta. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on the bottom half, then add fresh parsley.

  5. 5

    Bake the Bread

Place the top half back onto the bottom half, wrap the stuffed ciabatta in foil, and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bread is heated through.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove from the oven, unwrap, and let cool for a few minutes. Slice and serve warm.
