Preparation Steps
- 1
Prepare the Roasted Peppers
If using store-bought roasted red peppers, skip to the next step. If roasting your own, preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). Place whole red peppers on a baking sheet and roast for about 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, until the skin is charred and blistered. Remove from the oven, place in a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let them steam for 10 minutes. Once cooled, peel off the skin, remove the seeds, and slice the peppers.
- 2
Assemble the Dish
On a serving platter, arrange the sliced roasted red peppers. Tear the burrata cheese into pieces and place on top of the peppers. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- 3
Garnish
Scatter fresh basil leaves over the top for garnish and additional flavor.
