Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Meatballs
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, minced garlic, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- 2
Shape the Meatballs
Form the mixture into 8 meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter.
- 3
Cook the Meatballs
In a large skillet over medium heat, add a bit of oil and cook the meatballs for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until browned and cooked through.
- 4
Prepare the Pasta
While the meatballs are cooking, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- 5
Combine with Marinara Sauce
Drain the pasta and return it to the pot. Add the marinara sauce and cooked meatballs. Stir gently to combine and heat through for about 2-3 minutes.
- 6
Serve
Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley or Parmesan cheese if desired.
