Directions
- 1
Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Prepare the Chicken
While the pasta is cooking, season the grilled chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Grill or pan-sear them until cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from heat and slice into strips.
- 3
Sauté the Garlic and Spinach
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the fresh spinach and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
- 4
Make the Cream Sauce
Reduce the heat to low, then stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add in the Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- 5
Combine Ingredients
Add the cooked penne pasta and grilled chicken to the skillet with the cream sauce. Toss gently to combine until everything is well coated in the sauce.
- 6
Serve
Transfer the pasta to a large serving tray or bowl. Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve warm.
