Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cook the Penne
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Prepare the Chicken
If using breaded chicken, fry or bake it according to your preference until golden and cooked through. For grilled chicken, grill the chicken breasts until fully cooked. Slice into strips and set aside.
- 3
Sauté Garlic and Spinach
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then add fresh spinach and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
- 4
Make the Cream Sauce
Reduce heat to low, add heavy cream to the skillet with spinach and garlic. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- 5
Combine Pasta and Chicken
Add the cooked penne pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet. Toss everything together until well coated in the cream sauce. Heat through for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- 6
Serve
Serve hot with extra sauce on the side for heating if desired.
