Meatballs

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Meatball Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, bread crumbs, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Meatballs

Shape the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball, and place them on a baking sheet.

  3. 3

    Cook the Meatballs

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes, until cooked through and browned.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Marinara Sauce

While the meatballs are baking, heat your house marinara sauce in a large saucepan over medium heat.

  5. 5

    Combine Meatballs and Sauce

Once the meatballs are done, add them to the marinara sauce and let them simmer together for an additional 10 minutes.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the polpetti with additional grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil on top.
