Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
- 2
Bread the Chicken
Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip it in the beaten eggs, and then coat it with breadcrumbs, ensuring an even layer.
- 3
Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Fry the breaded chicken cutlets for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 4
Assemble the Tray
In a baking dish, spread a layer of house marinara sauce on the bottom. Place the fried chicken cutlets on top, then cover each cutlet with more marinara sauce.
- 5
Add Cheese
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the chicken and marinara.
- 6
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 7
Garnish and Serve
Remove from oven, garnish with fresh basil if desired, and serve hot.
