Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Bread the Chicken

Coat each chicken breast in flour, then dip into beaten eggs, and finally coat with bread crumbs.

  3. 3

    Cook the Chicken

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the breaded chicken breasts and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.

  4. 4

    Bake the Chicken

Transfer the cooked chicken to a baking dish. Pour marinara sauce over each piece and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly.

  5. 5

    Cook the Pasta

While the chicken is baking, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  6. 6

    Serve

Plate the pasta and top it with the baked chicken parmigiana. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
