Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Flatten the chicken breasts to an even thickness using a meat mallet. Season with salt and pepper. Dredge each piece in flour, shaking off excess.
- 2
Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 3
Sauté the Chicken
In a large skillet, melt 1/2 cup of butter over medium heat. Add the coated chicken breasts and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- 4
Make the Sauce
In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze. Let simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- 5
Combine
Return the chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce. Add the cooked penne pasta and toss to combine. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- 6
Serve
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
