Cooking Noodles

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a large pot, bring 1 litre of water to a rolling boil.

  2. 2

    Add Noodles

Add 200 grams of dried noodles to the boiling water and stir gently to prevent sticking.

  3. 3

    Cook Noodles

Cook the noodles according to the package instructions, usually about 8-10 minutes, until al dente.

  4. 4

    Drain Noodles

Once cooked, drain the noodles in a colander and set aside.

Preparing Sauce

  1. 5

    Mix Sauce Ingredients

In a small bowl, combine 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, 1 tablespoon of honey, 2 minced garlic cloves, 1 teaspoon of grated ginger, and 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes. Whisk until well combined.

Cooking Vegetables

  1. 6

    Sauté Vegetables

In a large skillet or wok, heat a splash of oil over medium-high heat. Add sliced bell pepper, julienned carrot, and broccoli florets. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until they begin to soften.

  2. 7

    Add Green Onions

Add the chopped green onions to the skillet and continue to stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes.

Combining Ingredients

    Combine Noodles and Sauce

Add the drained noodles to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Pour the prepared sauce over the top and toss everything together to coat evenly.

  2. 9

    Heat Through

Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and well combined.

Garnishing

  1. 10

    Serve

Remove from heat and garnish with 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds and 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh cilantro before serving.
