    Prepare the Meat

    Cook the bacon or sausage in a skillet over medium heat until crispy and cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.

    Scramble the Eggs

    In a bowl, whisk the eggs with salt and pepper. In the same skillet, add butter and heat over medium-low. Pour in the eggs and scramble until just set. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.

    Assemble the Croissant

    Slice the croissant in half and layer the cooked meat on the bottom half. Add the cheesy scrambled eggs on top of the meat. Place the top half of the croissant over the eggs.

    Serve

    Serve immediately, optionally with a side of fresh fruit or hash browns.
