Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Dredge the marinated chicken thighs in all-purpose flour, shaking off excess. Fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate and keep warm.

Make the Gravy
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in the remaining flour and cook for 1-2 minutes. Gradually whisk in milk and chicken broth, stirring constantly until thickened. Add chopped basil, salt, and pepper, and simmer for an additional 2 minutes.

Serve
Place the fried chicken on a serving plate and generously smother with the milk gravy. Serve with your choice of two farm-fresh sides.
