Chicken Fingers
Method
Preparation and Cooking
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- 2
Set Up Breading Station
In three separate shallow bowls, place the flour in the first, whisk together the eggs and milk in the second, and mix the cornstarch with a pinch of salt in the third.
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Dip each chicken tender into the flour, shaking off excess, then into the egg mixture, and finally into the cornstarch. Ensure each piece is well-coated.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large frying pan or deep fryer, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 5
Fry the Chicken
Carefully add the breaded chicken tenders to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 6
Serve
Serve the chicken fingers immediately with your choice of dipping sauce and a side.
