Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patty

In a bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined, then divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Buns

While the patties are cooking, slice the potato buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill or in a toaster.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

Spread ketchup on the bottom half of each bun. Place the cooked patty on top, followed by optional toppings like lettuce and tomato. Close the burger with the top half of the bun.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the burger immediately with your choice of side, such as fries, salad, or chips.
